Prudential Corporate Purchasing Selects ZeroChaos to Provide
Payroll Services for Temporary Workers
(BLACK PR WIRE) NEWARK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 27, 2006--Prudential
Financial, Inc. (NYSE: PRU) announced today that it has selected
ZeroChaos, a minority owned vendor, to provide payroll services
for some of the company's temporary workers.
ZeroChaos, headquartered in Orlando, Florida, was selected because
of its competitive pricing and its automated and web-enabled solution
for processing time sheets and payroll. In addition to these factors,
ZeroChaos is a certified Minority-owned Business Enterprise (MBE).
The vendor will provide payroll services and all employer-related
functions for temporary workers who were referred by Prudential
employees.
"Prudential's policy is to do business with the supplier that
best meets our needs in terms of cost, quality and service, recognizing
that minority and woman-owned businesses bring value and innovation
to the table. ZeroChaos fits both criteria. Using a diverse supplier
base makes sense for everyone - our customers, our suppliers and
Prudential," said Mary Donelik, vice president, Corporate Purchasing
at Prudential. "We look forward to a successful partnership
with ZeroChaos."
